Waiting patiently...

We were expectent puppy people for a little while... Here's the mom, Zoey:

But it didn't take this time, so we'll wait for next time.  Because every morning we have the treasured gift of waking up to this face:

Miss Jago is now 9-and-a-quarter-and-three-days.  And yes, we're counting!  And so because Jago continues to thrive and bounce through her days, we have all the patience in the world to wait for puppies to grow in Montana.

Let's start at the very beginning...

Music is running through my head like crazy today!  I think that's a Sound of Music tune?  The temporary blog title — "Looks like we made it!" — is a Barry Manilow tune...

Our kitchen remodel is nearing the last steps... One really big step, a fewer smaller ones to go.  Today, the countertop templaters are scheduled to show up.  When the countertop arrives, the sink will be installed, the plumber can be summoned and the tile guys can come back and install the backsplash.  THEN, we're done.  I've started the process of unpacking boxes and putting the kitchen back together again, even without the countertops... I'll miss being able to reach in through the top to get the saran wrap!
